Alexia Miller '13, Pre-U '14: Eating Disorders & Borderline Personality Disorder

Alexia Miller '13, Pre-U '14 gives us a glimpse into the world of eating disorders and borderline personality disorder.
Alexia Miller ’13 earned her BA in Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2018 and recently defended her PhD in Clinical Psychology at McGill University. Her doctoral research focused on the intersection of eating disorders and borderline personality disorder, aiming to inform treatment by identifying key BPD symptoms to target and incorporating patient perspectives to improve outcomes. Her work has been published in several journals, including the International Journal of Eating Disorders and the Journal of Psychopathology and Clinical Science. She is currently finishing her residency treating patients at the Personality Disorders Clinic at the Allan Memorial Institute, MUHC.
