It's probably fair to say that 98% of parents have a whole new appreciation for what teachers and education workers do everyday since students were sent home in March. What does the future hold for education in a post-covid world? No one can say for sure really. Not the Ontario government, and not those who work daily in education. We are definitely in uncharted waters. I speak with Laura Walton, President of CUPEs Ontario School Board Council of Unions that represents 55,000 education workers across Ontario to hear some of the concerns they have about schools reopening in two short months.
